This is a legacy website for the Tropical Beef Technology Services project (which officially concluded in July 2021) and is not currently being updated. The SBTS & TBTS team are now operating under the banner of ABRI Extension Services (contact details remain current). 

Tropical Beef Technology Services (TBTS) is an extension service with the objective of maximising the understanding and use of genetic technologies in the Northern Australian Beef industry. TBTS is a joint initiative of Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA), the Agricultural Business Research Institute (ABRI) and breed societies that run the majority of their cattle in Northern Australia.

In conjunction with Southern Beef Technology Services (SBTS), TBTS provides a national extension network for genetic technologies for the Australian beef industry.
